Yes I know about that hyper action too, my son and I wear hearing aides so I know about hard of hearing and deafness.my son takes one pill in the morning and its out his system by 7pm or so, and doesn't. Take anything on the weekend and long holidays, when he was younger o my goodness!!!!! He would run in to walls jump dowm a flight of steps, but the kicker was running in the street on a red light, I didn't like the idea of meds either, but , I found a great neurologist who he still see every three months, he is an A student and has a 4.0 grade av. Always had good grades and now in engeneering class in h.s. of course it up to you to decieded about meds or not. As far as a sibling teasing,I never allow that in my home, about disabilities. My son has 3 sisters older than him, only one sister lives with us ,she teases him abit but its not about his didability, just over playing and he hits her and I make them both stop.other kids can be less sensitive to people with disabilities, but I rewally think time will help and being there for your child will change a lot of things, I know. Sign lang. So if you have a deaf chiild that might help them fell more at easy having a way to cummunicate, it a wonderful family thing to learn together. Stay strong stay positive. Stick to it, hope is there it just take a lot of effort and everything else. Its hard no joke, and a lot of tears. So wipe your face and put the paddle to the metal. Become the teacher. Your child needs you more then anything
