Cope

Posted in Group:

Hello, l have a 25 year old daughter, and I seem not be able to cope, with the caring of her. I really don't feel that I get sufficient support from her father. How can I get him to help me more without conflict.

Invite him over for "A day in the life of me". Ask him to trade days for one day, one. Give him a schedule and ask for one from him so you can fully appreciate his life too. Then commit to it- I pray that my parents would do that with my brother but to date- no. I know it's easier said than done but hell, how else can they fully appreciate the stress, hardship and even the small joys of what one experiences with these special people everyday- the good, the bad and the ugly, you have to know it all to appreciate it. I wish you luck. Keep well

Take all that you've been given and live life for all it's worth- Marie
